Safe Sport
Collingwood Paddling Club is dedicated to being a safe, inclusive place for everyone. Safe Sport provides a system of education, reporting, and resolution for any kind of misconduct. If you aren’t sure what counts as “misconduct”, you’re encouraged to review the Safe Sport materials or you can always contact a Safe Sport rep or the independent third party for CKC to discuss your issue—they’re always happy to provide guidance.

Rowans Law (Concussion Safety)
Rowan’s Law covers safety, awareness, and required steps around concussions in Ontario. While we are a lower risk sport for concussions, they can happen in any environment and it is important to recognize them and treat them properly. CPC follows the Canoe Kayak Canada concussion protocols, and Rowan’s Law guidelines.
